I began working for a local veterinarian when I was a sophomore in high school. I continued until I graduated from North Mississippi Community College with an AS degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. When I transferred to Mississippi State University studying in Pre-Veterinary Medicine & Animal Science I went to work for The College of Veterinary Medicine as a veterinary technician working in both large and small animal clinics. I was the Mascot Chairman over the care of Bully and President of the Pre-Veterinary Club. I graduated with a BS degree in Animal Science from Mississippi State. I moved to Memphis, TN to get married. I worked at a private practice veterinary clinic and worked at The Animal Emergency Center as a veterinary technician at both facilities working an average of 80 hours per week. I went into human pharmaceutical sales and medical sales. I became bored and discovered AALAS. It is an organization that promotes certifications in the field of laboratory animal medicine. The international headquarters is located in Memphis. I studied for the highest level exam of LATg, Laboratory Animal Technologist and I passed. I had the opportunity to work in management at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center: College of Medicine in the (DCM) Department of Comparative Medicine, the University of Pittsburgh, College of Medicine in the (DLAR) Division of Laboratory Animal Resources and at Georgetown University, School of Medicine in the (DCM) Division of Comparative Medicine. I retired to move back to Tupelo to start my pet sitting business. I started the business in February of 2017. I have 2 Animal Care Specialists to assist me in serving my clients, Shannon Heberling Boose and her daughter Kaylee Heberling. Please feel free to call, email or text me with any questions. I prefer to have a meet and greet with all new and acquired clients through Kritter Sitterz of Tupelo. LLC. You can reach me at info@petsitting4pawsllc.com, ronheberling@petsitting4pawsllc.com or text me at (662) 321-3123.
